Smith BSc, MSc, PhD,for a down-to-earth whistle-stop tour through his life as an academic biomedical scientist — from wrangling parasites, decoding proteins, and riding the waves of scientific change, to now working (part-time!) as a biosafety consultant for UK biomedical research companies. It’s science, history, and a few lab stories along the way.
