New Book alert!

At Christmas we had a new book published called “St Mary’s church through the years” by Tracy Sevenoaks.

This photo book chronicles St Mary’s church from our oldest photo and drawings pre 1867 right through to photos from November 25, 160 years of history. It also shows the changing landscape around that area, with the houses still behind the tower opposite the now Wetherspoons, to the cars, people and landscape at what was the market in the high street.

This fascinating little book is £2.50 for members and £3.00 for non-members, available in the museum.
