The next issue of the 'Haverhill Historian' is about to go to the printers and should be available by the AGM.

Forthcoming news: Another book with rather a long title, 'A glimpse into the history of Queen Street, Haverhill' is also about to go to the printers. This stems from our Queen Street exhibition last year.

OPENING TIMES

After careful consideration the Committee of the Local History Group have decided that, from January 3rd 2019, the History Centre will be open on Thursday and Friday mornings from 10:30 to 12:30. We will no longer be open during the afternoons of these days. Saturday hours will remain 10:30 to 15:30 at present.

Local History Group receives accolade from Mayor Tony Brown

On Monday 15th October the group were presnted with a St Edmundsbury Community Certificate by Town Mayor Tony Brown.
